If Steam trains interest you, take a trip on the Welsh Highland / Ffestiniog Railway. Runs several times daily from Easter and takes you to parts of Snowdonia that you wouldn't normally see.

About 20-30 minutes drive away. Walk or take the train to the summit. It even has its own cafe at the top!

Great day out, take the boat from Aberdaron. Still inhabited by one family, very peaceful and great for Artists! Alternatively, stop at Aberdaron, our own Lands End!

This is one place to access the estuary at low tide. Great place to walk the dogs. look out for sheep first!

Several guests have visited this castle and have been very impressed with it, often spending a whole day here. The town is worth wandering around too.

Mountain Biking for all levels of expertise! Apart from car parking charges, it's free. Good cafe too and some not too strenuous walks - look out for bikes though.
