POOL. The Luzech community pool is about 350 meters (~380 yards) or a 3 minute walk from the house. It's open in July & August everyday from 11am to 1:30pm and 3pm to 7:30pm. We hope you'll never need to use these, but FYI, the number for an ambulance or medical help is 15. The police is 17 and the fire department is 18.
Our village is fortunate to have a health center where there are two generalists, nurses and other specialists. We also live right across from the Gendarmerie, which is the national police. https://www.angloinfo.com/how-to/france/healthcare/emergencies

The region is known for its bike & hiking trails, boating/kayaking/canoeing, and more
Next door (~300m), right by the community pool, there are tennis courts. And, there are several hikes around the area, with trails right outside our garden! Pesquie trail, Chemin de la Croix, Les Balcons de Luzech
