An institution, walkable from the house...take a go cup (they're in the bottom middle drawer of buffet) enjoy the walk, its about a mile but through some old historic neighborhoods. Great burger, Good brunch, dog friendly patio! Lots of beer choices

My favorite park! The Live oaks and fountain are very charming.
Gulf of Mexico beaches just a short drive away...the perfect sand that we're known for and not overly touristy...no highrises here. Enjoy the beach, its why I moved here.

A historic park and a great place to get out and see some of the beautiful country. The last battle of the civil war was fought here, the battlefield is incredible and there's a lot to learn and see... We love to take our dogs on the many miles of trails. Pack a picnic.
