Lake Seminole Park is a 250-acre municipal park located on the shores of Lake Seminole in Pinellas County, Florida, and serves as a designated wildlife sanctuary. It is home to biking and walking trails. Lots of big open spaces to socially distance as well as paved paths for those who need them. Would be a great park to go for a run, a nice relaxing stroll, a picnic, or just to sit and enjoy the scenery. There are several lakes, a nice playground, boat launches, and plenty of benches by the water in the shade. There are shelters and "facilities" as well. Free parking..As far as wildlife goes, there are alligators, turtles, and so many amazing birds and fish. There are also some swings along the water. If you're just looking for a nice walk or even a full day of recreation there's something for you here! 10015 Park Blvd N, Seminole, FL 33777 7 minutes from the house 🏠

Closest beach from the house, only 6 minutes drive. Legend holds that a pirate named John LeVique was the first European to "settle" the Madeira Beach area. Today, Madeira Beach, a Gulf of Mexico beach city just west of St. Petersburg, is best known for the sea-themed John's Pass Village and Boardwalk, which serves up shops and eateries and a 1,100-foot boardwalk along the Intracoastal. Madeira Beach's 2.5-mile beach attracts devotees of sun and sea, and fishing in the primary sport activity. More grouper is brought into John's Pass than any other place in the state. In addition, each October, Madeira Beach hosts the Seafood Festival at John's Pass, which attracts as many as 130,000 visitors to its celebration of food, music, and arts and crafts.

If you really want a beachy, “away-from-it-all” experience, catch the ferry to Egmont Key from the fishing pier at Fort De Soto. Here, a small lighthouse reaches above coastal foliage as well as the ruins of Fort Dade (built in 1899). There’s great snorkeling on the key, and plenty of nearly empty beachfront for you to enjoy. As you explore the island, look for gopher tortoises and their burrows. The ferry ride takes 20 minutes and runs multiple times a day (happy fact: dolphins are often spotted along the way).
