Beautiful place to visit any time of year. During the summer, you can hike and explore, or just drive around the rim enjoying the amazing colors of the rocks. In the winter, you can enjoy the views of the snow dusting the steep canyons and towering spires. Look for Prairie Dogs on the drive there.

Visit anytime of the year. During summer and spring, you can climb the monument. You can also visit at night and see the lighting ceremony where they play a patriotic son and show a film. The Evening Lighting Ceremonies are held from late May to September 30 each year.
