The line here does not move so fast, though, so here is a tip: if you just want a pint (and not a hand dipped cone or sundae), you can skip the line, go grab the pint from the cooler, head straight to the cashier, and boom! you're outta there in no time flat.

Shops and restaurants across the street from Green Lake on the eastern and northern edges. There are often events there on weekends, especially in the summer, and the people watching is never dull.

It's not really a mall, because it is in an old school building, and not so big as a mall. There are a couple of nice clothing stores for women's clothes or children's, and an import store, a yarn store, and a place to get your kid's hair cut.

You can rent these cute little boats for $139/hr with a two hour minimum. It's like driving a super slow car, very chill, and a very fun way to explore Lake Union, into Fremont and up to the Montlake cut in the other direction.
