Virginia Lake is close!! 2 blocks down the hill from the home. It attracts many bird species. Turtles and darling ducklings and goslings show up in the spring. It is 1 mile around and you can use it's paved or sand paths ...great for a nature walk, jog or picnic.

Close to everything
There are many ski resorts, golf courses, tennis courts, the Truckee River, lakes, camping, hiking, biking, all with 5 minutes to an hour or two away. There are all kinds of restaurants- Italian, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Seafood & ones with vegan options, all within the area. There are many bars and breweries within a mile or two. Casinos are many for night time entertainment & refreshments, and they usually have a restaurant that stays open 24/7.
The Peppermill has a spa, sportsbook, hotel, casino, many great restaurants and bars, poker room, and a huge game room for kids. The Terrace Lounge has live entertainment and dancing. Restaurants include a seafood, Asian, steak house, Italian, pastry bar and more ncluding a 24 hr. coffee shop. It is less than a mile from Get a Gadda Getaway! And of course there are other casinos near by.
