About a 20 minute drive from Cove and Beach house is French Beach Provincial Park. Known for it's stretch of beach to walk, forest to hike through and gorgeous campground, this is one to see.

Another great hike and beach with views for miles. Shorter hike in than Mystic beach, but views that are just as scenic.

Great little town with a few local shops to peruse for local items. You can get all of your grocery needs in town and a great cup of coffee at Stick in the Mud. There are also food trucks that are permanently parked at Mariner's Village (Chompkins and Flying D's Grill). Excellent views too!

20 minutes from Sooke you will find Metchosin. Quaint little farm town on the water. Check your MyChosenCafe for a great sit down lunch while you're there and if you have kids, they can see the goats, donkeys and chickens on the property.
