Their philosophy is that of seasonal, local and the freshest of produce. From surrounding farms, the kitchen garden and local suppliers they bring a modern Australian menu. As owner/operators, the small restaurant focuses entirely on each table at a time. They do not over crowd the restaurant and operate on a staggered bookings approach ensuring that each and every table enjoys a complete and relaxing dining experience. They are fully licensed offering an extensive wine list showcasing local, regional wines and beers along with a large selection of spirits and liqueurs.

Monthly markets are on every third Saturday of the month just up the road from the hotel at Laggan Memorial Hall.

Taralga is a beautiful village with many historic properties to admire on a leisurely stroll. It is also easily accessible by car.

Taralga can get snow in winter!

Taralga can get very cold so we would recommend always packing a jumper and coat just in case. We can get snow in winter so a beanie, scarf and gloves never go astray.

Local Parks

There are two parks in Taralga. The biggest one is in Orchard Street. There are lots of swings and work out equipment to be enjoyed as well as a skateboard area. There is a smaller park in Bunnaby Street with play equipment.
