This beautiful beach is situated along the seaside promenade called Lungomare, which extends for many kilometers along Pula’s coastline. On Lungomare you can find many pebbly and rocky beaches and one of them is the Gortanova Bay. The beach is pebbly with an accessible entrance into the sea and is suitable for families with children. A few meters from the coast, you can find plenty of shade under the trees and you can freshen up at a beach bar just above the beach.
From Apartment Augier you can reach this beach by car in 7 minutes. There is free parking along the whole Lungomare stretch.
Also, you can take public transportation to reach Lungomare and then a 15 min walk (beautiful scenery) to Gortanova Bay.

This beach has beautiful turquoise blue colors and the water is crystal clear. This is a great spot for snorkeling as the sealife is protected form fishing. The area of Kamenjak offers many more beaches to discover including walking and cycling trails.

These shoes are great for the beaches of Croatia and protecting your feet from the rocky terrain. We highly advise getting some for the family (especially the kids) for a care-free experience, and to make the best use of your time! They are very easy to find in the Centre Pula markets, just around the corner from Apartment Augier.
