Biking
When leaving the house, go right (East) on Kellogg, then left (North) on El Manto. After you enter the park, you’ll see a parking lot on the right. Go through that parking lot. On the other side of the parking lot is the American River Trail. If you go left, it’s more flat, traverses wooded areas and grassy plains toward Sacramento (~15 mi). If you go right, it’s undulating hills through wooded areas mostly toward Folsom Lake. There is a steep incline for the last 3-5 miles up to the lake (17mi total).
