Spokane has many local parks to visit. Riverfront, Manito and Comstock Parks are easy to get to and relaxing just to walk through. Riverfront Park which is downtown or 10 minute drive away has a gondola ride which crosses Spokane Falls, Looff Carousel built in 1909 and restored within the last 5 years and vendors to feed your appetite or just get an ice cream cone. Spokane is a growing city. Real estate prices have consistently increased, and still I think of it as having a small city feel.
