Tour Daufuskie and Island Carts are your main options. Both are available at the Melrose ferry landing or the county pier and run around $75/ night. Be sure to ask for weekly rate for extended stays. Also organize ground transportation if you have excess baggage and make sure you know if your cart will be left at the house or available from the landing or pier.

Saturdays Farmers Market
Look for the market on Haig Point road before you turn on to Maryfield Road. Great place for fresh veggies and seafood. You will want to try the stuffed Blue Crab! Freddie also provides firewood. They are setting up a stand at the Melrose Landing now as well:)

Welcome to the low county! The screened in porch is great, but to venture out, you will need to have some good bug spray. I like No Natz and Off with Deet. You will notice we do have a bat house in the back yard for natural mosquito control:). They are rather fun to watch when they emerge right at sundown!
