Always a reliable place, good food and open late. Even though Las Vegas is known for late nights some of the restaurants close early or are closed certain days. Yard House is open Sunday through Thursday till 12 AM and Friday/Saturday till 1 AM.

Uber/Lyft
Even for short rides, rideshares are commonly used around the strip. Every hotel has a designated space for it so just be on the lookout or ask valet. FYI, rideshares usually do not pick up or drop off on the strip itself but it is Vegas, so you never know.

advantages
Vegas can get pretty expensive. Take advantage of your condo by preparing some meals or having some drinks in the room before you head out. There's always the CVS down Harmon Ave or a Whole Foods (and other grocery stores) nearby to do some shopping. You could even do some online shopping and have it delivered, keep extra fees in mind. ABC stores are around Las Vegas strip too where you will also find some cool souvenirs and maybe some affordable alcohol. Just google ABC stores Las Vegas.

There's a lot more for kids to do than you think
There are plenty of kid friendly things to do in Las Vegas. There is a gameworks at TownSquare if you don't mind driving or CIrcus Circus with a whole amusement park. Circus Circus also has a carnival theme play area with games and a free circus act every 1/2 hour.
Mandalay Bay has Shark Reef. Mirage has the Secret Garden & Dolphin habitat. Venetian has the Gondola rides. Call ahead to check times and pricing. There are quite a few Las Vegas shows that allow kids. At MGM itself there is the fun dance group Jabawockeez, all ages. There are also pretty big arcades in NY NY and Excalibur!

The monorail is something to definitely look into. From MGM (at The District) to SLS hotel with stops on the way. Trains arrive every 4-8 minutes and you can buy unlimited multi-day passes for a good price. Go to lvmonorail.com for more information and routes.
