Paved trail system (18.5m) from Ashland to Central Point. Nice for birding, walking, biking, etc. Lots of shade & it runs along Bear Creek ~stating the obvious :).

Couple of our favs are Naverseen Family Trail and Hall of Manazanita. Be sure to grab a map and bring water. Good rule for any hiking adventure, let someone know where you're going. There's no garbage or recycling available at this park, so if you packed it in, be sure to pack out.

Forest Park
Jacksonville Reservoir RoadAn abundance of hiking trails here. A favorite among locals. Some spectacular vistas of the surrounding foothills. Note: trails can be narrow. Couple of our favs are Naverseen Family Trail and Hall of Manazanita. Be sure to grab a map and bring water. Good rule for any hiking adventure, let someone know where you're going. There's no garbage or recycling available at this park, so if you packed it in, be sure to pack out.

Upper and Lower Table Rocks are great hikes. Average hiker would do well to set aside a few hours for these great early morning hikes. In summertime, I suggest hiking early to beat the heat.
