This is an incredibly beautiful spot for those wanting to pamper themselves with a luxurious spa day. The Inn has masseuses on hand, a beautiful swimming pool and food to purchase from the kitchen. On the pricey side and of course reservations are needed. Location is only a few minutes from the cabin.

Korbel winery provides lovely tours of their facility. They also have a sweet little Cafe to enjoy indoor or outdoor casual dining. the outdoor dining is shaded by beautiful redwood trees. The Landscaping here is amazing!

For those of you loving redwood trees this is a must see! The roads meander through groves of beautiful redwoods. The park also offers a beautiful picnic area. if you have time and don't mind the Switchback road to the top of the mountain, you can take the scenic road that continues up the mountain and has an outstanding view of Austin Creek reserve.

Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve Visitor Center
17000 Armstrong Woods RdFor those of you loving redwood trees this is a must see! The roads meander through groves of beautiful redwoods. The park also offers a beautiful picnic area. if you have time and don't mind the Switchback road to the top of the mountain, you can take the scenic road that continues up the mountain and has an outstanding view of Austin Creek reserve.

This park is a short walk from the cabin. it has several sweet beaches along the banks of the Russian River. it can get very crowded on the weekends so best if going on weekdays or early in the morning or late afternoon on weekend.

There is a park entrance fee or you can simply park along the road and walk in. the park provides short walking trails that are paved or dirt trails that go farther back into the park and around some sweet creeks and Vineyards.
