A beautiful stately home with wonderful walks in the surrounding grounds. There are signposted circular walks as well as many other paths which you can wander about on. It is especially lovely by the lake. There is a cafe and a shop; do walk down to the church, it is worth a visit and is a very special place.

Felbrigg Hall

Blickling Hall is a stately home, part of the Blickling Estate, near Aylsham and is the birthplace of Anne Boleyn. The grounds are extensive and the gardens very beautiful. The walks here are breathtaking and it is perfect for a long dog walk. Stop at the cafe (or the Buckinghamshire Arms) for refreshments and do a spot of secondhand book shopping at the Lothian Barn, adjacent to the Hall. 5 minutes from the market town of Aylsham.

Sheringham Park surround the private residence of Sheringham Hall and is a landscaped park and gardens. It is most beautiful in the late Spring/early Summer when the rhododendrons and azaleas are in flower. There are several tall viewing towers from which you can see the sea and it is worth exploring to find the garden temple.
This is one of our favourite places. It is often very quiet here and is the perfect place for a picnic and a peaceful read. There are no shops, cafes or.....anything other than tranquility really!
