The train leaves every 30 mins between 10am and 4pm. The steam train often runs on Sundays and sometimes other special days. It is a really enjoyable adventure. You can always pack a picnic and stop over at Coles Beach and catch a later train back.

Don Heads is a lovely reserve to visit. You can walk around the small lake or simply take in the majestic view. You can skip along the rocks or sit in the car and enjoy the view. There is very little traffic on this road, so if you are feeling adventurous it is just over 4km from our place to Don Heads (so 8km return).
