Our family always has a great time at Breakwater Beach. I was also very pleased with how they handled social distancing this past summer. We recommend that you reserve a cabana. It is definitely worth it if you want to spend the day there. You will get your own personal wait staff and plenty of seating in the shade/sun. It’s a nice option if you are traveling with little ones who may need to nap in the cabana. They have a full menu with kids meals, pizza, burgers etc. they also have a full bar menu.

Seaside Heights is a fun, family friendly town. It offers rides and attractions for all ages. They are currently building a museum that will feature the original carousel from the boardwalk and other great historical items of the Jersey Shore over the years. Best of all it is within walking distance of the house.

Food scene
My husbands and I like it for the fun atmosphere and live music. While our kids like it for the grilled cheese and toy that is offered with the kids meals.
They also make a great chicken cheese steak and some of the best hummus.

This is a favorite to many. This restaurant has a sports bar, large restaurant area, outdoor dining and in addition to a great menu they have these giant slices of pizza.

Strollers are a great idea for little ones
There is a lot of walking opportunities in this area. A stroller can be helpful for little ones who can’t quite make the long walk to the opposite end of the boardwalk or need a place to rest while waiting for a dinner reservation. It was helpful for us when our children were younger.
