This is at the top of the stairs from the apartment, it a stable place for the locals, so the service can very, some days is fast and great and others is slow and not so great!lol... It has great views, and the food is not amazing, but it's more about the convenience, views and Caribbean vibes..

This is a local favorite pizza place, so be aware as the lines may get really long! but if you get lucky and you get there at the right time, the pizza and decor are all amazing so do highly recommend!

This is my recommendation for local Puerto Rican food that's in a cute environment and with pretty good service, most days! lol
It's small so take away can also be a great option!

This is not local to old San Juan, but I highly recommend! The food and drinks are AMAZING!!! it's also in the area that has beautiful mural art work everywhere.
In the evenings it gets busy so making reservation is highly recommended.

1004 Calle Elisa CerraThis is not local to old San Juan, but I highly recommend! The food and drinks are AMAZING!!! it's also in the area that has beautiful mural art work everywhere.
In the evenings it gets busy so making reservation is highly recommended.
Another must visit for great Puerto Rican food! Reservations are not necessary although it is a very popular restaurant, but I have never had problem getting a table. Of course on the weekend nights reservation is alas recommended :-)
