Hot Springs
These are our favorite Hot Springs in Desert Hot Springs. Remember it has world renowned water that does not smell like sulfur. There are roughly 50 active Hot Spring hotels currently in Desert Hot Springs. It’s super high in mineral content and great for many ailments and aches and pains. There are several types of Hot Springs you can go to most of them have a day pass the cost $40 a day. Some of them are $20 a day but more in the campground setting but still really nice. Most of the Hot Springs are adults only so if you have children there’s only a couple you can go to. My favorite one to go to if you have children is Sam’s family campground.
This place has a chill vibe and it’s cannabis friendly. The owner is a really nice guy from LA. Give him a call before you go to tell him you’re coming if you decide to go there.

This Hot Spring only cost $20 a day Which is the cheapest around and his kid friendly. What I like about it is they drain there 4 Hot Springs Jacuzzis every night and refill them in the morning. It’s not luxurious but it’s a nice space and the fact that the Hot Springs do not have chlorine is a bonus!
Update: with Covid it is closed to outside day passes. Call before you go.

Sam's Family Spa Hot Water Resort
70875 Dillon RdThis Hot Spring only cost $20 a day Which is the cheapest around and his kid friendly. What I like about it is they drain there 4 Hot Springs Jacuzzis every night and refill them in the morning. It’s not luxurious but it’s a nice space and the fact that the Hot Springs do not have chlorine is a bonus!
Update: with Covid it is closed to outside day passes. Call before you go.
This one is from the 50s and is very lush in a beautiful garden. It cost $40 a day and is calm and quiet but it is adults only.

This is a very nice hot spring only a five minute drive away from the house. It’s across the street from The Good House. They have massage and therapist on site. It cost $40 a day and is very beautiful and the garden is lush.

This is by far the most luxurious Hot Spring in Desert Hot Springs. It’s been around for 50 years and is stunning and is on at least 20 acres. It has a spa with massage and different therapies. It also has a really luxurious restaurant and bar that you can go to. The only problem with this one is for a day pass it cost $70 a day. If you want to pamper yourself this is definitely the one to go to.

Two Bunch Palms

It has a spa with massage and different therapies. It also has a really luxurious restaurant and bar that you can go to. The only problem with this one is for a day pass it cost $70 a day. If you want to pamper yourself this is definitely the one to go to.
Food scene
If you like Mexican food this is the best Mexican restaurant I found in town. It has a full bar we can get cocktails. Great for families.

Supermarkets
There are two big supermarkets in town. You have Vons and stater brothers. I personally prefer Vons. It’s only a 5 to 6 minute drive away from the house.

To get to the town of Joshua tree it's a 40 minute drive and to get to the park entrance expect 55 minutes. It's a wonderful park and worth the drive.

It's a classic iconic area at a 35 minute drive from the house. There is a wonderful restaurant and an old Western town with many different stores to visit.
