Neighbourhoods
Eclectic, chilled out, quirky neighbourhood (just a three minute stroll down the pedestrianised hill at the end of our cul de sac) that is home to a small (& free) city farm (great for kids and adults), complete with hobbit style cafe (The Farm cafe....serving delicious locally grown, seasonal produce) children's playground, and pub next door (aptly also called 'The Farm', which has a large garden laid to grass so plenty of space for the young ones to run around in. The Farm pub also do sizeable and good value Sunday roasts :)
In St Werburghs you will also find a local butcher & baker (Popti & Beast), independent veg shop selling locally grown produce, and a very well stocked organic supermarket (The Better Food Company), as well as the local Wiper & True brewery, which also serves beer on site :)
If climbing is your thing then the climbing wall in St Werburghs can be found in an old church on Mina Road, and right beside this you will find one entrance to Narroways Nature Reserve..... a beautiful hidden green space that offers far reaching and fantastic views over the city. Well worth a little hike up!
