Often featured in Southern Living, the Inn at Willow Grove is one of the hidden gems in this area. My favorite place is to sit in the bar and order off the Pub menu. The hamburgers are to die for and their fries are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. No reservation required in the bar. For special occasions when you want a more elegant dinner try Vintage, their four star restaurant. They source their food and wine locally and have exceptionally high standards when it comes to their

Claire's is located in Warrenton and is one of the best restaurants in the area. The drive is a little over 30 minutes and well worth it. I can't recommend it enough for special occasions. If the weather is nice they have lovely courtyard seating.

This is a terrific option for sandwiches and soups. Ordering ahead is easy. Their roast beef sandwiches are my favorite. They also have ice cream and delicious donuts. Just a few minutes from the farm.

Death Ridge is 10 minutes outside of Culpeper. They have something going on every weekend and some terrific bands as well as food trucks not to mention great beer.

Gordonsville is just about 30 minutes from the Farm and a fun little town to visit. Champion Ice House is a brand new restaurant by the same owner who is known for some great barbecue at the Barbecue Exchange just down the road. If you like beer and excellent fried chicken I think you will love Champion Ice House.

If you like beer and excellent fried chicken I think you will love Champion Ice House.
Casual barbecue that’s a local favorite. Try the pumpkin muffins, they are delicious. Pork belly and brisket are my two favorites.

Historical Sightseeing
Culpeper dates back to pre-colonial times. In 1749 George Washington at the age 17 was commissioned to survey and plot the town. Since those early days Culpeper has grown into a vibrant historic town with so much to offer.
Brandy Station Battlefield Park is only 20 minutes from the Farm and a great place to go for a hike while learning some history about the largest Union Calvary encampment during the Civil War.
