Great hiking opportunities. Lots of trail options in length, difficulty, and views. There's a trail map at the trail head. Dogs allowed off leash and bicycle friendly too. At the trailhead are old historic limestone kilns.

Unionville is a historic community a few miles from downtown. There are still some mining shafts on the side of the road. An interpretive sign is on the road that you can pull your car up next to. Lots of hiking trails further back this way too.
