Food scene
There are several amazing places in town for fine dining. One of my favorites is the Bistro at Les Bourgeois. This is our local winery a few miles down Interstate-70. The food is so good and the restaurant sits on a bluff overlooking the river.

CC's Broiler is the most famous high end restaurant in town. It's really good and worth the prices which I still find to be more affordable than most major cities! 1401 Forum BlvdCC's Broiler is the most famous high end restaurant in town. It's really good and worth the prices which I still find to be more affordable than most major cities! Murrys is by far one of the most famous restaurants in town. On most nights there will be live piano being played, it's a dimly lit, always consistent restaurant. I'm there about one a week! All of the appetizers are amazing, I highly recommend trying several. 3107 Green Meadows WayMurrys is by far one of the most famous restaurants in town. On most nights there will be live piano being played, it's a dimly lit, always consistent restaurant. I'm there about one a week! All of the appetizers are amazing, I highly recommend trying several. If you want a unique dining experience, FlyOver is top notch. A little on the pricier of the mid-range restaurants, but their drinks and food are both unique and amazing. My favorite drinks are the Cold Black Heart (spicy marg), Squirrel Walks Into a Bar (Pecan Whiskey drink), and the Golden Ticket (Chocolate Martini). This is not a sit down restaurant, but a Italian deli! All their food is served in to go containers, you can sit if there are seats available but there’s no wait staff. This is incredibly authentic Italian, highly recommend! They also have fresh pastas and sauces if you want to make an authentic Italian meal at home. Woman-owned!

Sightseeing
I highly recommend checking out the Devil's Ice Box Trail at Rock Bridge State Park. If you go in the morning it won't be too hot and it's totally tree covered. Easy "hiking" loop (it's completely boardwalked and easy aside from a few stairs) with multiple caves to check out with easy access. https://mostateparks.com/park/rock-bridge-memorial-state-park
