Don’t forget checkout Ballast Point Brewery for great beer and food. Fig tree cafe is a great breakfast place. The nearby park is also a great place to walk or bike.

Sightseeing
A trip to San Diego would not be complete without a stroll down our promenade (Prado). Our favorite highlights are the Lily Pond, the Fleet Science Center, Japanese Garden and of course the San Diego Zoo. There are multiple other museums and sites. We recommend getting some tea from Cafe Bassam and walking across the Cabrillo Bridge for peaceful stroll. If you are dining in the area, we recommend the Prado, Mr A's (for he view!) or checkout one of the many other eateries in nearby eclectic North Park.

Take a stroll along the La Jolla Cove walkway. Feel the waves crash and watch the sea lions play. The grassy areas are perfect place to catch a romantic sunset, bring a blanket and make it a picnic. Walk from the cove to Shell Beach to play in our favorite spot. If you are in the mood for a taco we highly recommend the Taco Stand in La Jolla! Be prepared to wait in line but it’s worth it!

The grassy areas are perfect place to catch a romantic sunset, bring a blanket and make it a picnic. Walk from the cove to Shell Beach to play in our favorite spot. If you are in the mood for a taco we highly recommend the Taco Stand in La Jolla! Be prepared to wait in line but it’s worth it!
Bring your camera! Always a beautiful walk along the rugged coastline. Don’t forget to checkout the lighthouse for a great view of San Diego. You can even spot some cool sea life during low tide!

Gliderport is a great place to spend a couple of hours. Relax and watch the hang gliders taking off and soaring the coast, or get a real leg workout and take the trail down to Black's Beach.

The Mission Beach Boardwalk is a great place for people watching, swimming, surfing, dinging, and has a ton of fun activities for families at Belmont Park. This trip would not be complete without a ride on the Giant Dipper, a beachside wooden coaster built in 1925!
