Sightseeing
About 35 minute drive and just past the town of Poulsbo is the Port Gamble Historic District. The historic mill town is lined with historic, charming homes and a few shops to wander through. There is an old cemetary overlooking the Hood Canal with tombstones from the mid 1800's.
Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park is nearby with excellent walking and biking trails.

About an hours drive from Bremerton, Port Townsend makes for a perfect day trip. This charming, victorian seaport is known for it's artistry and music scene. Fort Worden State Park is nearby and one of my favorite places to visit! Check out the city website for an extensive list of things to do while visiting. https://enjoypt.com/
Moderate 5 mile hike to a nice outlook...you can see Seattle on a clear day. It's about a 30 minute drive and requires a Discover Pass to park.
