Makarska is the center of Makarska Riviera. It is a small tow with a big soul. Get lost in the narrow old stone streets and feel the old Dalmatian lifestyle around you. There are loads of shops, restaurants and bars but also some nightclubs for those that would like to stay up late.
This hidden gem is not easy to reach and that is what makes it so special. You need to park your car in Makarska a take 30 minute walk throug the gravel roads of Osejava. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks with you since there are no shops or markets on Nugal Beach, just pure nature.

If you want to have the best meat but also 1st class fresh fish combined with an outstanding view then look no further and visit Konoba Galinac. It is a 20-25 minute drive from the villa, but it is worth it. Like in all great restaurants, make sure you make an reservation. You can also ask them to pick you up with a van, sometimes they do that....
