Around the market are restaurants, coffee shops, book shopts, Italian and French restaurants, and a flea market that's active on weekends. One block away on Pennsylvania Avenue there are many restaurants, bars, and shops until one gets to the U.S. Capitol

Getting Around
Union Station is Washington's train station, but it also houses many commercial stores and restaurants. The building is grand and worth a tour only for that, but you'll also find coffee shops, stores, exhibits.
