There are many climbing routes on Skałki, which are used by many tourists. Among the vegetation of Skałki, weeds predominate, but there are also thermophilic plants, such as thyme.
Where does the name come from? Legend has it that among the cliffs there, Master Twardowski had his school of sorcery and magic (the one who, according to the famous legend, sold his soul to the devil) and that these rocks were created as a result of the explosion of the building. In reality, however, Twardowski worked on other Skałki - in Krzemionki Podgórskie; in the nineteenth century, however, Skałki in Zakrzówek began to be associated with his name and activities.

The competition task was to inventively develop the city space. The Rainbow Staircase, according to the assumptions of their creators, Agnieszka Rola and Monika Pasek , was to improve the mood of passers-by. In their opinion, people are so busy these days that they lack time both to smile and to reflect; stairs in the colors of the rainbow are to contribute to changing this state of affairs.

Its owner, Tadeusz Pankiewicz, was the only Pole who lived in the ghetto from its inception until the very end. Pankiewicz wrote a book about Apteka pod Orłem. Pharmacy in the Krakow ghetto ; the object also appeared in Steven Spielberg's film "Schindler's List".
Today, the Pharmacy is one of the branches of the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow. The permanent exhibition of the Pharmacy is devoted to the history of the Holocaust of Kraków 8y Jews , and also commemorates the figure of its owner, Tadeusz Pankiewicz. The exhibition was opened in 2013, 70 years after the Germans liquidated the ghetto in Krakow.

The factory for the production of sheet metal and enamel products was established in 1937; it was then the "First Małopolska Factory of Enamelware and Metal Products" Rekord "Sp. z o. o. " An entrepreneur from Germany, Oskar Schindler, took it over two years later and called it the German Enamelware Factory. The factory workers were the Jews who were threatened with extermination, later entered on Schindler's list and saved from extermination. The factory was put into operation by the Museum in 2007.
Both the permanent exhibition of the Factory and the temporary exhibitions are devoted to the period of the occupation of Krakow by the Germans (1939-1945). In addition to exhibits documenting the life of residents during World War II, you can find there those that "tell" about the fate of Krakow's Jews or items related to the life of Oskar Schindler himself.
