Large reservoir in beautiful setting . . . feeds all the lakes heading down the Black River into Ludlow. Great place to paddle or swim in the summer, or for ice-fishing in the winter. About 12 miles north on Rt. 100 from the cottage.

Not the place to pick up a cheap six pack (grocery store or gas stations are great for that), but if you're looking for higher-end adult beverages, this is a gem in downtown Ludlow.
