Seis is EXCELLENT and just a quick 10 minute walk from the house. The atmosphere is fantastic. It does get extremely busy because of it's popularity, but it's worth it.

Great paved hike just minutes from the home. This is a very well traveled hike and it's pretty busy all day. Don't let that stop you though! This hike provides a solid workout and one of the best views in Tucson at the end.

Fantastic trail system about an 8-10 minute drive from the house. I would rate the trails as easy with the biggest loop being right at 3 miles. The parking is easy to get to and there's plenty of it. My recommendation would be to arrive about a half hour before sunset and do the Slingshot loop.

Painted Hills Trailhead
3590 W Anklam RdFantastic trail system about an 8-10 minute drive from the house. I would rate the trails as easy with the biggest loop being right at 3 miles. The parking is easy to get to and there's plenty of it. My recommendation would be to arrive about a half hour before sunset and do the Slingshot loop.

Besides being the #1 rated trail in Tucson by All Trails, it boasts seven waterfalls, incredible views, and a moderately easy hike. You can find the trail to Seven Falls (Bear Canyon Trail) in Sabino Canyon Recreation Center.

Westbound is a great outdoor bar nestled within a plaza of shipping containers. The atmosphere is great with fire pits and plenty of seating along with restaurants and shops. My favorite beer there is the Papago Orange Blossom.
