There are several local subway stations in the neighborhood.
These are:
Dekalb station at Flatbush For the B, Q and R trains
Atlantic Terminal at Hanson and Flatbush For the N, D and Long Island Railroad trains
Nevins station at Flatbush and Fulton for the 2,3,4 and 5 trains
Lafayette station at South Portland and Fulton for the C train
Fulton station at Fulton and South Elliott for the G train
The B54 bus drops you half a block from the apartment between Carlton and Adelphi
The B54 bus will pick you up at corner of Myrtle and Carlton in front of Crown fried chicken and drops you off at Jay St station in downtown Brooklyn
