Check out the flowers in the Volunteer Park Conservatory or learn about Indian, Chinese and many other Asian cultures at the Seattle Asian Art Museum. In the summer, there are often fun plays and concerts at the amphitheater: http://volunteerparktrust.org/calendar/. On hot days, take the kids to the kiddy pool on the north end of the park to cool off.
