With some planning ahead you can get tickets to see this iconic landmark in SF. The audio tour is fascinating. The park rangers there are also very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. Sells out quickly.

Normally I wouldn't recommend touristy areas, but seeing the sea lions close up are worth the visit. Sometimes at night you can hear the sea lions bark into the evening fog.

This is the largest Chinatown in the United States. Definitely worth a visit. It's a wonderful place to have a Chinese lunch or dinner. My favorite restaurants are Hunan Homes on Jackson St. or R&G Lounge on Kearny St.

This is the BEST view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Not many people make it to Battery Spencer. It overlooks the North Tower of the Golden Gate Bridge. You can see the whole length of the GGB and San Francisco in the background. Sometimes there is dramatic fog rolling in from the ocean. You may have to wait for parking to open up, but usually no more than ten minutes.

This is two blocks away from the flat. It's a wonderful Food Truck for lunch or an early dinner. Great value for the money. Large delicious portions. Try the plantains.
