It's the original, wonderful coffee shop on Queen East, just a short walk down Jones to Queen. They have lots of gluten free options and excellent coffee. Great spot to share with your laptop and frequented by the best of the locals.

It's a great neighbourhood just east of us on Gerrard, with many fantastic Indian restaurants (with gf, vegan and vegetarian options) and shops. Udupi and Lahore Tikka are old favourites. Take out and dine in.

Parks & Nature
If there's one place you must go while staying in Toronto, it's the Islands. Centre Island has a children's theme park in the summer, but there are also great walks, bicycle rides (bring your own or rent) and cafes, not to mention amazing views of the city. It's a short ferry ride from downtown.

If there's one place you must go while staying in Toronto, it's the Islands. Centre Island has a children's theme park in the summer, but there are also great walks, bicycle rides (bring your own or rent) and cafes, not to mention amazing views of the city. It's a short ferry ride from downtown.
It's nearby. It was once a brickworks but now has a dog walking park, a playground and a skating rink in the winter as well as a bit of green relief.
