The Darwin Waterfront has several options including Italian (il Lido), an Irish Pub (Fiddlers Green), good Asian food (Chow!), Mexican (Hot Tamale) and contemporary Australian at Wharf one or the Precinct Tavern.
You can also have a picnic on the grass, or a swim in the lagoon (free - salt water) or the wave pool (not free!).
