Take the G North for Bed-Stuy, Wiliamsburg (can transfer to the L into Manhattan or into Bushwick and East Brooklyn), Greenpoint and Long Island City.
Take the G South for Fort Greene, Downtown Brooklyn (can transfer to the A/C into Manhattan), Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, Windsor Terrace, Kensington (can transfer to the F to Coney Island!).
