The key here is to actually get on the boat that crosses the river, from Praça do Comércio -Cais das Colunas- and takes you to the other margin, to Cacilhas. The boat ride is not expensive, during the journey you get to be in the middle of the river and on the other side the views of Lisbon are stunning, and then you get to take the boat back to Praça do Comércio. An all round winner!!!! p.s.- Do it at around sunrise or sunset time for enhanced lighting effects ; )

Cacilhas
The key here is to actually get on the boat that crosses the river, from Praça do Comércio -Cais das Colunas- and takes you to the other margin, to Cacilhas. The boat ride is not expensive, during the journey you get to be in the middle of the river and on the other side the views of Lisbon are stunning, and then you get to take the boat back to Praça do Comércio. An all round winner!!!! p.s.- Do it at around sunrise or sunset time for enhanced lighting effects ; )
