We often like to stock up on groceries at the Coop before driving up to Newfane. This is the biggest grocery store in the area with the best selection of organic, local produce, prepared foods, beer, wine and most everything else. http://www.brattleborofoodcoop.com

About ten minutes north of Newfane up Route 30 in Townshend. They've got a good selection of groceries and it's usually open until 9pm. This is also the closest gas station.
