Located on the pier itself is the iconic amusement park and is a great place to take children.
The beachfront is lined with with a bicycle and walking path. Bicycle rentals are also available on the beach, making it a fun and healthy way to sightsee Santa Monica and neighboring Venice Beach.
Be sure to take sunscreen!

It is less touristy in comparison to Santa Monica or Venice Beach, but has a great beach town ambiance. The street leading up to the pier is lined with shops, restaurants, and bars.
Weekends are often busy with outdoor live music and weeknights attract a younger crowd.
This is a great place to visit for all ages. Be sure to take sunscreen!
