We enjoyed this park. Its not extraordinary but its very pleasant especially at sunset. It has pay parking but don't pay after 6 because they don't work that late (so we heard).

Shopping
The butcher shop here has all local produce and some interesting sausages and meats. I want to support small abattoirs ... so local folk can raise a few animals of their own.

This is the closest place to buy anything at all but it also has quite a nice selection of hardware, not to mention hard cider and a few other selections from the SAQ. Try the 'Infusee' from the Brasseurs du monde.

Sightseeing
St. Denis is a beautiful little town, as is St. Antoine across the river and Calixa Lavalee also across the river. The French restaurant in town is closing mid October, so make your way quick.
