“This is a relaxing walk with plenty of birds around. The walk starts at the parking lot next to the Yanakie caravan park. If you start with the beach part first, make sure to keep an eye out for the little track that leads you trough the shrubs back to the parking lot. We came across a few other "tourists" who were looking for the track back and we all had passed it without noticing it as there are no signs. I would recommend to go trough the shrubs first, looks like a tunnel at the entrance of the car park and when reaching the beach turn right and you can't go wrong. There were quite a few flies around, so apply some aeroguard or bushmans. But nice and easy going walk with great views. Best at low tide.”
“Duck Point - is the sign on Foley Road - ... great panoramic views as you drive down to the Point .... good information on the migration of the birds to Europe in the Autumn ... ”
“Basia Mille can arrange a private boat trip for you to the Prom and around the Glennies Islands, Cleft Island and the Anser Group of Islands. This is a full day trip and one of the most stunning to do.”
“Close to Tidal River campground, the beautiful Norman beach is flanked by Pillar Point in the north and Norman Point in the south and offers stunning views of Mt Oberon.”
