“This is a must if you like Science! The Science Centre also has an Imax Theatre. Initially opening in 1971, Cinesphere was created as the world’s first permanent IMAX theatre. IMAX is a proprietary large-format projection system developed in Ontario, and Cinesphere features a unique and immersive IMAX® theatre experience that allows for screening of films with IMAX’s laser digital and 70mm film technologies. Graeme Ferguson’s North of Superior was the first film commissioned for and screened at Cinesphere at its 1971 grand opening, and it helped put the IMAX format on the map.”

“Spadina Museum is a historic mansion on Spadina Road in Toronto, that is now a museum operated by the City of Toronto. The museum preserves the house much as it existed and developed historically. The art, decor and architecture of the house used to reflect the contemporary styles of the 1860s through the 1930s, including Victorian, Edwardian, Arts and Crafts, Art Deco, Art Nouveau and Colonial Revival styles. The estate's gardens reflect the landscape during the Austin family's occupation of the house. A great place to picnic in the summers. ”
