“Toronto Islands is probably our favourite place in all of Toronto! We believe it is a must-see if you have never been and you will be wow’ed during your entire visit! It is home the absolute best view of the city skyline, amazing sunsets, many beaches (including a clothing optional beach), beautiful landscaping, delicious local restaurants, beautiful homes of the Toronto Island Residents, many trails, piers and boardwalks and of course hundreds of birds and animals. The best way to see the island is by bike because it is such a big island, but you can still get the most of your visit if walking by going to the ferry dock of your preference, as each area around the ferry docks are different: Centre Island, Wards Island and Hanlan’s Island. They do offer bike rentals during specific hours on Centre island. We are experts of the Islands by now so feel free to ask us literally anything about them! We are happy to provide links to tickets, ferry schedule, recommendations and our favourite spots, beaches and views. ”

“A little over 100 years old, Allan Gardens Conservatory is a striking sight with its glass domes, steel framing, and symmetrical geometry. The almost 5000 meter space contains five linked greenhouses filled with tropical plants from around the world. The central, largest, and oldest dome, the Palm House, contains the tallest plants, including bananas and pine, while two tropical houses, a cool house, and a cactus house brim with orchids, citrus trees, and more. The park is open every day of the year, with rotating seasonal exhibitions, and is always free.”

“This 9 hectare park on Eglinton Avenue West just west of Yonge Street features five multipurpose sports fields, four tennis courts, two ball diamonds, a children's playground and a wading pool. In the winter months there are two artificial ice rinks. Eglinton Park wading pool is the centrepiece of a remarkable play area. Adjacent to the wading pool is the large playground, several soccer fields, baseball/softball diamonds, and public bathrooms. Free parking can be found on the side streets or for a small nominal fee there is ample parking underground located at North Toronto Memorial Community Centre. The wading pool is a short walk away.”

“Just north of your stay, Rosedale is an affluent Toronto neighbourhood. It's nice to take a stroll or a jog there, or simply admire the nice mix of the modern and traditional architecture. You can also park on most of the streets for free, except 9 to 11am weekdays. Shhhhh.. it's a well guarded secret.”

“It's so beautiful! Amazing views everywhere, the water is clear, lots of space for guests to sit and to have an amazing colour. Perfect to visit in October, these astonishing colours to the trees. This place brings peace to our souls! Great for just a walk, or a picnic or just some romantic afternoon watching the boats and the views with love ones or friends and family . This is 24 km away from my area, this location can be really busy and parking will be packed otherwise 3 mins walk is the nearest public parking.”

“With high end retailers in big beautiful and clean shops this may be the Fifth Ave of Toronto (hate making NY comparisons!). This is the grown up and got a great job version of its parallel Queen West's young and kinda profess vibe. Don't get me wrong. I prefer Queen West for its small cool shops but you can't deny the beauty of Hermes next to Mikimoto as side eyes Holt's. ”
