“The Mauritshuis is home to the best of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. The compact, yet world-renowned collection, is situated in the heart of The Hague, right next to the government centre. Masterpieces such as Vermeer’s 'Girl with a Pearl Earring', Rembrandt’s 'The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp', Fabritius’ 'The Goldfinch' and Potter’s 'The Bull' are on permanent display in the rooms of this seventeenth-century monument.”

“The Peace Palace (Dutch: Vredespaleis; pronounced [ˈvreːdəspaˌlɛis]) is an international law administrative building in The Hague, the Netherlands.[1] It houses the International Court of Justice (which is the principal judicial body of the United Nations), the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), The Hague Academy of International Law and the Peace Palace Library. The Palace officially opened on 28 August 1913, and was originally built to provide a home for the PCA, a court created to end war by the Hague Convention of 1899.[1] Andrew Dickson White, whose efforts were instrumental in creating the court,[2] secured from Scottish-American steel magnate Andrew Carnegie US$1.5 million ($40,000,000, adjusted for inflation) to build the Peace Palace.[1] The European Heritage Label was awarded to the Peace Palace on 8 April 2014”

“The Hague Kunstmuseum (formerly "Gemeentemuseum"), designed by Dutch architect Hendrik Berlage is a milestone in contemporary architecture. The museum is especially known its Mondriaan collection, which includes his early, realistic pieces as well as the piece de resistance, Victory Boogie Woogie. The permanent collection contains modern art, fashion, music, decorative arts, a print room with about 50,000 drawings, and prints and posters. On top of that the museum has five large style rooms, each representing a different art period. The Hague Gemeentemuseum holds one of the world's leading collections of fashion items, an extensive music collection, and a decorative arts collection exhibited in Berlage's original display cabinets.”

“The Prison Gate belongs to the most iconic buildings of The Hague, beautifully situated next to the Hofvijver. Originally, the Prison Gate was an entrance gate to the castle of the Counts of Holland. For many years after, this building served as a prison to the mighty Court of Holland. Nowadays the museum tells the story of crime and punishment across the centuries.”

“Voorlinden is a private museum for modern and contemporary art at a magnificent estate in the dunes at Wassenaar, a stone's throw from The Hague. Businessman and art collector Joop van Caldenborgh realised his dream here in 2016: a museum of international allure that houses his renowned collection. The attractive white building offers a space for Van Caldenborgh's rich and surprising collection, permanent works of art made especially for the museum and temporary exhibitions.”

“The Hague was once the third large distillery city and alcohol producer in the Netherlands. In the heart of the historical centre of The Hague you'll find the only remaining genever and liqueur distillery Van Kleef. Van Kleef offers a wide range of Dutch Distills: Jenever, Wodka, Liqueurs and Bitters. All the Van Kleef beverages are distilled from grain alcohol, using only natural ingredients. Combine your visit with one of their tasting menus and get to know Van Kleef's selection of jenevers and liqueurs in a unique way (reservation required). All this in the ambiance of the former distillery. Weather permitting, you can also enjoy the tasting menu in their museum garden.”
