“There is tons of hiking in and around Santa Fe. Your best bet is to check out All Trails which rates over 80 hiking trails in the area from easy to extreme. Some of our favorites are the Dale Ball Trail System, Picacho Peak, Rio en Medio, Borrego-Bear Wallow, and Big Tesuque. www.alltrails.com/us/new-mexico/santa-fe”

“This is a short 1.64 mile trail with excellent views overlooking Santa Fe and the mountains. If you don't have the time or energy to do a longer hike, this is the perfect alternative. There are only a couple parking spots at the actual trailhead; if those are full, you'll need to park at St. John's College and walk the sidewalk/path from the College to the trailhead.”
