“Beautiful island with Red Squirrels! Not vehicles and some lovely hidden beaches. Hope on the yellow boat at Sandbanks. Open air theatre events during the summer. ”
“The largest arts centre in the country outside of London, also home to the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. There are loads of events going on year-round, as well as a cinema.”
“Sandbanks beach has a promenade if you walk one way and doesn’t if you walk the other. We prefer this beach as it is usually less busy, though parking around Sandbanks can be expensive. There’s a church called The Church of the Transfiguration on Chaddesley Glen (a side road at Sandbanks) who let you park in their car park for a small donation compared to the council car park prices.”
“Next to Poole Park (free parking there) and Poole Quey, in Poole town center, massive car park and the bus station is there too, great place for shopping, enjoy a day out, good food in Poole Quey and don't miss the fireworks in summer.”
“A nice park within walking/cycling distance. It has a mini train which takes you around and a children's indoor play area with soft play and a skating rink. Several places to grab a bite to eat here.”
“Great hive of activity with lots of bars, restaurants and coffee houses. Great for lunch, dinner, drinks or a night out. It has something for everyone and again within walking distance or a very short bus or taxi ride.”
