“The Covered Market is a historic market with permanent stalls and shops in a large covered structure in central Oxford. It provides a unique showcase for local crafts, a number of great places to eat and a plethora of shops to buy gifts. The majority of the shops are independent and some go back generations. I remember shopping at Cardew's as a child where Mr Cardew would grind my parent's favourite blend of coffee. These days I love Ansari which has a great range of Italian leather hand bags at pretty good prices. The market is open to the public from 8am – 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sundays. ”

“Looking out the living room window across the street you will see a yellow building with the sign 'Sunny Side of Oxford'. That is the Kazbar! My favourite place for cocktails in Oxford. The coolest place I think there is in town! Try their Kazmopolitan and grab some tapas! Think hippy vibes, friendly staff and Spanish music! A must try! ”

“The Museum is open every day from 10am to 5pm. Entry is free,. Oxford University Museum of Natural History was founded in 1860, and is an amazing beautiful Gothic building. Each column of the building was made of a different British rock, and it has statues of the most eminent scientists. it is like a 'cathedral' to science. They exhibit dinosaur bones, modern animal skeletons, insects, birds and the 'Oxford Dodo' bird. In the second floor use to have special exhibitions at the back. Also make sure you go to the back of the museum to see the Pitt Rivers collection - a huge and mind blowing collection of ethnographic artifacts from around the world. The shrunken heads are a "must see".”
