“Kerbisher and Malt won’t be your granddad’s idea of a chippy, but it is good. There’s a proper counter, lots of tiles, and seats for you to shovel warm fried potatoes in your face. The fish and chips itself is very good, and they’ll even grill it.”
“Eight Over Eight (PanAsian - 20 seconds away): Following its sibling E&O, Eight Over Eight brings high quality, inventive Pan Asian food to Chelsea. Set in chic, comfortable surroundings, the restaurant and bar provide fabulous cocktails, friendly and knowledgeable service and an eclectic wine list. Eight Over Eight provides a complete dining experience in a vibrant environment.”
“If you're looking for an alternative to Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, Eltham Palace is quite special. It's about 45 minutes away - you'll need to jump on two buses and head South East but it's well worth the trip. The Art Deco house was built by the Courtald's in the 1930s. It also has 19 acres of beautifully kept grounds.http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/eltham-palace-and-gardens/history/description/”
“THE MOST AMAZING steak restaurant in London that I know. There is another Gaucho in Hampstead (2 minutes walk up the street from Hampstead station) but I would always prefer the treck out to Canary Wharf to eat on the riverside, especially during warmer weather where you sit outside, eat delicious food, and get drunk on wine and people-watching:) It's not a child-friendly place per se. No kids menu. But because of the off the beaten track location, you may find it wonderfully empty in the afternoon as most business people from CW book it for either lunch or dinner. Next door is a Royal China which is decent, and opposite a Zizzi Italian restaurant which is very good too. Enjoy!!”
“Very casual and very traditional Italian family run restaurant. Fantastic ambiance. Bring your own wine/beers to enjoy with delicious pasta dishes. Don't forget to try their delicious homemade teri masu!”
